With the guidance of the Mission Committee, the congregation of Advent has quarterly opportunities to participate in hands-on missions during the worship services.

The intent of an Advent "Wave of Grace" is to allow all people, of all ages, to combine their small acts of kindness and generosity to form a "wave" of grace that blankets a particular need or group of people.

Waves of Grace in the past have included:

• Lowes' Gift Cards and cash in support of our mission trips
• Collection of toiletry items for shelters
• Peanut butter and jelly for food pantries
• Kleenex tissues for hospice patients
