For years, Advent has supported Habitat For Humanity of Greenville County through direct finance support allocated by our Mission Team, through volunteers working to build houses, and through prayer.

Chartered in 1985, Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County is dedicated to providing affordable home-ownership opportunities to low-income families in Greenville County.  It is a non-profit Christian organization affiliated with Habitat for Humanity International. 

Advent is a supporter and participant in the Golden Strip Church Coalition which is a group of eleven faith communities coming together each year to build a habitat home.

The Spring Build of the Golden Strip Church Coalition has completed a house in Fountain Inn for a single mother of two boys.
