5th Annual Collision Weekend
April 9-11, 2010
“When our depravity meets His Divinity, it is a beautiful Collision.”
Collision weekend is a retreat weekend here in Greenville with four worship times at Advent, one Friday night, one Saturday morning, and one Saturday evening. Sunday, Collision will culminate with the fourth worship time as youth join the Advent family for the 9:55AM service. Saturday afternoon we will spend the afternoon at Frankie’s Fun Park. Youth will be staying in the homes of Advent members for the weekend in a group of about 10 people. You will also have two group leaders for the weekend who will lead your small group time and will stay with you all weekend. Patches O’Houlihan (Liberty Hill) is coming in from Auburn to lead worship and speakers will share messages each session. It will be a good time with each other and an amazing experience with God! What's Coming This Summer...
Many great activities are coming this summer for Advent youth! And, there is a theme woven throughout...Galatians 5:6b says…“The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love” This theme will run throughout all we do this summer! There will be many opportunities for youth to EXPRESS OUR FAITH THROUGH LOVE. Here are some of those opportunities:
