The Upstate SC Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure held the 13th annual Upstate South Carolina Race for the Cure on Sept. 29 at the new Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) and Millennium campuses in Greenville.
The 5th Annual Survivor Breakfast was held followed by the 5K Run/Walk and 1-mile Fun Walk to follow. Over 5,200 people from across the Upstate participated, including hundreds of survivors who wore wearing pink T-shirts.
Among the group was Team Advent, members and friends of Advent who participated in the annual Race For The Cure. Team Advent raised over $2365 in support of ending breast cancer.
