Mid Winter Study Opportunities

Join us on Wednesday nights for a fellowship meal beginning at 5:45 p.m. followed by engaging spiritual formation opportunities for adults, youth, and children at 6:15 p.m. to 7:10 p.m.

Adults can choose from one of the following possibilities. Register by calling Linda at the church office at 288.8217 or by signing up online.

These new opportunities include:

Paul “The Apostle”
led by Tonya Edwards

Paul is one of the most fascinating and controversial figures in the religious history of the West. What is most surprising in all the controversy Paul creates is how little attention is actually paid to the things with which he was most concerned: the stability and integrity of the tiny Christian communities to which he wrote letters. The scope of this course focuses attention precisely to these letters to learn something about Paul in the context of early Christianity. We will explore problems in the early church that evoked Paul’s letters, the influence those letters had on the communities to which he wrote and how Paul’s letters themselves sometimes created as many problems as they solved.

There's Even More to It!
led by Barbara Ware and Tommy Moore

This class will explore our daily journey to live following Jesus' examples of discipleship. The sessions will consider aspects of our daily life and how we live out our Christian faith through the power of prayer, becoming a community who makes disciples, the way to forgiveness and various daily applications.

Looking through Stained Glass
led by LouEllen Davis

LouEllen Davis, an excellent stained glass artist here in Greenville, is choosing a stained glass project that will help us reflect on the season of Lent. A materials cost of 35.00 will apply and the class is limited to 20 participants.
