At Advent, we are striving to become a community of deeply committed Christians. Spiritual formation is a key ingredient to our being shaped by the Spirit of Christ. Bible study and faith formation in the intimacy of small group gatherings help us to deepen our faith and connect with others on the journey.
Sunday School
Because we know that people enter this journey in many different ways and are on different parts of the path, we offer a variety of opportunities to engage. Adults may choose from a variety of Sunday morning classes that meet at 8:30 am, 9:55 am, and 11:00 am. Our adult Sunday school page provides more information about each class including a description and facilitator. We encourage everyone to visit several classes to find a perfect fit.
In addition, classes for children, and youth are available at various times on Sunday mornings. Check out their respective pages for more information.
Confirmation
Children in the 6th & 7th grades have the opportunity to explore their faith in our Confirmation program on Sunday evenings. Click here to learn more.
Youth Offerings
Advent's youth are active participants in this family of faith. Sunday school classes are offered on Sunday mornings at 9:55 and 11:00 for middle school and high school students in the CLC. Youth fellowship meets from 5:45 -8:00 on Sunday evenings beginning with a large group meal time followed by worship and small group offerings. Click here to read more about offerings for youth.
Disciple Bible Study
Disciple Bible Study is Advent's introductory Bible study. It is a study designed to develop strong local churches through the in-depth study of scripture. Its purpose is two-fold: to strengthen believers in their faith and to guide them toward service and ministry. Disciple is offered on Sunday evenings and nursery care is available. A description of each study is available on our Disciple page.
