Superheroes are brave and true.  During this morning camp, the K3 & K4 will learn about Bible Superheroes.  Games, crafts, music, and mission projects will make this a fun time for the children!

Lace up your tennis shoes.  Fill up your water bottle.  Get ready to get fit—Advent style!  This summer campers will participate in old favorites like golf and basketball, but we will also offer a few new sports, games, and fitness selections this year!  Also, we will again incorporate a mission component into this year’s camp by creating snack bags for children in need.

Dates:  Tuesday, June 15-Friday, June 18 & Sunday, June 20

Time:  12:30-3:30

Ages:  K5-5^th (just completed)

During this 4-day long camp, Advent children will take a walk on the creative side.  From visual arts to drumming, from movement to drama, the children will learn and create together.  Then, on Sunday, June 20, the Worship Arts Campers will lead in the morning worship services.  This unique camp allows children to have fun but also helps them take ownership of a worship service!

Dates:  July 26-30

Time: 9:45-noon M-F with the final performance on Friday Evening

Ages:  K5-5^th (just completed)

Registration Opens: April 15 and is limited to the first 15 registrants

Cost: $135

First Payment of $50 is due by May 10^th to reserve your child’s space!

This summer, Advent welcomes resident artist Sarah Walters!  Sarah serves as the, director, dreamer, and producer of Showtime on Stage! During this one-week camp, Advent’s budding stars will learn lines, design sets, and create costumes as they learn about the work that goes into producing a mini-musical!  Together, the campers will bring a Bible story to life!  The highlight of the week will be Friday night’s open performance of the mini-musical.  For more information on this camp, watch the upcoming newsletters or email Laurie at laurie(at)advent-umc.org.
