Advent has a number of opportunities to connect with other men who are focused on the ministry of Jesus Christ.
Coordination of these opportunities is the responsibility of our United Methodist Men executive team:
Jim Grayson, President
David Bell, Vice-President
Tommy Bryant, Treasurer
Ken Moore, Secretary
Advent United Methodist Men is an inspirational Christian ministry through men, promoting brotherly support, and fellowship, while serving the needs of the church and the community.
Below is a summary of these opportunities and points of contact.
Quarterly Meeting of Advent’s United Methodist Men
The men of Advent will gather on Thursday, August 19, at 6:00 p.m. in the Christian Life Center dining room. Special speaker will be Pastor Michael, sharing his vision for Advent’s men.
Other ministry groups focused on men will also be present to share opportunities and upcoming plans.
The meal will be the world famous low country boil prepared by Tommy Bryan.
Contact Jim Grayson, UMM President, at Jim.Grayson9(at)gmail.com to let him know you are coming and so food can be planned for you!
Advent Brothers!
Each Thursday morning Pastor Pete will offer Advent men an early morning time of fellowship, study, and ways of making a difference.
We'll meet in the Christian Life Center dining room early enough to have a light breakfast and still get to work on time. Come when you can and as often as you can.
