Sunday Morning Worship

We gather each week to praise the Lord of life, to give thanks, and to go out into our everyday lives with renewed faith. Worship services at Advent are God-centered and spirit-filled. We pray that in moments of worship that you not only feel the love of this faith family, but will feel nearer to the very presence of God. We are dedicated to being a caring church family and a community of faithful followers of Jesus Christ. All persons are welcome here...we are firmly committed to inclusiveness. We hope you'll want to join the Advent-ure!

8:30 a.m.
This first service of the morning is engaging in style and rich in tradition following the four-fold pattern of United Methodist worship (gathering, hearing God's word, responding to God's word, sending out). Music is led by an assembled choir.

9:55 a.m.
This worship experience celebrates the rich four-fold style of the ancient Church, with a modern acoustic sound by our reNew worship band and an artful blend of visual technology and sacramental celebration.

11:15 a.m.
Following the same style as the 8:30 service, this four-fold pattern of United Methodist worship is musically led by our robed chancel choir.

The same powerful message is shared at all services. The United Methodist service of Word and Table is used on the first Sunday of every month as we share in the Sacrament of Holy Communion. The bulletin and announcements for the upcoming Sunday are always available on the left side of this page.

Children's Worship

Children are always welcome in Worship. At 8:30 and 11:15, a Children's Message is included in each week's service. Children in K3-K5 are invited to leave the sanctuary after this time for a special Children's Worship designed just for them, with the exception of Communion Sundays.

The word Lent comes from the old English word for spring and is the season when we reflect on our commitment to Christ.  Join us for a time of worship and meditation.
