Women's Bible Studies

Advent's women also participate in various Bible studies. See the Adult Bible Study page for more information.

Annual Events

Semi-Annual Socials are traditionally in the Christian Life Center with a variety of activities (usually in October and March.) All women of the church are invited.

Winter Spiritual Retreats are in the mountains at Bonclarken Conference Center, Flat Rock, NC in late January or early February. All women of the church are invited.

Summer Social Retreats are traditionally at Hilton Head Island, S.C. during the first weekend in June. All women of the church are invited.

Ministry Through Women

United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women (UMW) are women of the church who gather together in small groups for fellowship and support, spiritual growth through study and prayer, and participation in UMW missions and the ministries of the church

Mark your calendars for the 2012 Women's Beach Retreat! June 1 - 4 at Beachwalk Villas on Hilton Head Island. Total cost of lodging is $150. More information to follow in February.

Circles meet in small group settings that support missions and spiritual formation as well as build lasting friendships among women. Below is a summary of each circle, so you can decide which one best suits your needs.
