STOP Hunger Now Benefit Concert

Greenville Area Benefit Concert for STOP Hunger Now will be Sunday, March 4, at 7:00 pm at Advent United Methodist Church (sanctuary) with guests CROSS, Kylie Hinze, and the St. Mark Boys of Praise & Girls of Glory. A suggested $5 donation will be received at the door. All proceeds benefit STOP Hunger Now.

STOP Hunger Now Golf Tournament

The Advent United Methodist Church Youth Group is excited to announce that we will be having a Golf Fund Raiser on March 24.  The fund raiser is being called the STOP Hunger Now Charity Golf Classic and will be held at the Hejaz Golf Course in Mauldin.  The Greenville District Great Day of Service mission, STOP Hunger Now, will be the beneficiary of this event.  All proceeds will be used to help meet the goal of $72,000 to package 285,000 meals at the Greenville District Great Day of Service on April 21, 2012.

So, it’s time to get out "the sticks" and get your "game on" for some fun competition and great fellowship...and it all goes for a good cause!  The tournament will be a “Captain’s Choice” format.  Please get a group of 4 together and form your own team or sign up as an individual and we will place you on a team.

Date: Saturday, March 24

Time: Lunch starts at 11:30am with Shotgun start at 1:00 pm
Location: Hejaz Golf Club in Mauldin, SC
Cost: $75 for an individual or $300 for a team (includes lunch and golf)

Registration Deadline: March 1

Complete the registration in one of two ways:

1. Register online and pay using Pay Pal (credit card required).

2. Register by mail by printing out this registration form and mailing both the completed form and a check to cover the registration fee. Checks should be made out to Advent UMC with "STOP Hunger Now Golf" specified in the notation line. Please mail or turn in registration forms with check to Advent United Methodist Church, 2258 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681.

Let’s get together and spend a fun day chasing that little white ball around and then telling some great stories. We know that in the United Methodist Church we have quite a few golf enthusiasts, so it would be outstanding if we could get a large group turnout for this event. And, please feel free to invite friends from outside of the UMC to come and join us for a great day!

Tournament sponsorship levels include:

• The EAGLE Sponsorship:
  For a donation of $500, the Eagle Sponsorship level includes company name and logo on all advertising, snack golf carts, and tournament luncheon banner.

• The BIRDIE Sponsorship:
  For a donation of $250, the Birdie Sponsorship level includes company name on all advertising and on the tournament luncheon banner.

• The PAR Sponsorship:
  For a donation of $100, the Par Sponsorship level is the sponsorship of a hole at the course. Company name will be on a sign display at the sponsored hole.

• The DONATION Sponsorship:
  For a donation of golf equipment, clothing, gift cards for meals, etc., the DONATION Sponsorship will be recognized at the tournament luncheon.
