Welcome!
We gather each week because we are people who believe that a life connected to God and a life connected to one another is the most meaningful life there is. For those you who are guests among us we extend to you the warmth of an Advent welcome and we pray that in moments of worship that you will not only feel the the love of this faith family but also will feel nearer to the very presence of God.
Advent United Methodist Church provides a God-centered, spirit-filled worship. We are dedicated to being a caring church family and a community of faithful followers of Jesus Christ. All persons are welcome here...we are firmly committed to inclusiveness. We hope you'll want to join the Advent-ure!
Children's Worship
This worship experience mirrors the adult worship service. Designed especially for children in K3 and K4, children learn the liturgical colors and their meanings, how to dress an altar table, as well as acolyte responsibilities. The two-year cycle includes the meaning of baptism and communion, and the season of Advent and Lent.
Sunday School
We have Sunday school classes for all ages, from young children to older adults. Sunday school starts at 9:55 a.m. Additional opportunities are available for youth and adults at 11:15.
