We know that people experience God through different styles of worship, so we strive to do both traditional and modern worship with as much excellence as possible, offering God our best. In traditional services, the congregation is led in hymns by our choir, organ, piano, handbells, and occasionally other ensembles. In our modern service, the congregation is led by our praise band and worship team. Sermons are the same in both styles.

Early morning worship is casual yet still in the traditional worship style. It is the perfect way to start your day off on the right path.
10:30 am Modern
Our modern service offers an informal setting where you will encounter God through sermon and modern worship music played live by our worship team.

MUSIC MINISTRY
Music can be a powerful tool to express your faith and Advent offers several different types of music ministry for all ages.
Traditional Music Ministry
- Chancel Choir – Non-auditioned ensemble for those who love to sing. This group leads worship every Sunday.
Who: Adults and youth - Soloist/Instrumentalists – Individuals who are interested in bringing solo vocal pieces or solo instrumental pieces as a reverent offering during worship. Modern Music Ministry
- Advent Worship Team – Leads worship during the Modern service comprised of instrumentalists and vocalists.
- Elevate Student Band – Leads worship at Elevate Student Worship sessions.
Who: High School Students
Children’s Music Ministry
- Mid-week at Advent – Advent Kids has a mid-week LifeGroup for children, K3 – 5th grade. Children explore worship through music, Bible study, games, and more!
Who: K3 – 5th graders
When: Wednesdays at 6:00 pm from September – May
Where: Education Building - Sunday Morning – Children explore worship through music during the worship services by attending Children’s Worship and LifeGroups.
We serve in worship as Advent Kids throughout the year both in-person and through virtual choir projects!
