Covenant Singers
The Covenant Singers are the Youth Choir of Advent UMC. This group rehearses on Sunday nights before United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) and is an exciting group of youth who love music and feel God's call on their life as they answer this call faithfully through music and worship leadership. The Covenant Singers are led by Rebecca Howerton and Linda McAllister.
C.R.O.S.S. ~ Youth Praise Band
The Youth Praise Band is made up of guitars, keyboards, drums, and singers. This group rehearses on Sunday afternoons from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and leads worship approximately every 6 weeks. Cross is led by Mark Eshenbaugh, Kim Sanders, Bill Allison.
Ascension Ringers
Hand bells add so much to the worship experience at Advent through their beauty and power. Led by Kellie Alexander, the Ascension ringers rehearse on Wednesday night during Wednesday Night Connection and offer music during the worship services. This group meets from 5:15 - 5:45 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Worship Through Dance
Worship through Dance is a program to glorify God through drama, music and dance. This group is led by Meridith Hitch and Beth Moore and meets on Sunday afternoons.
Drama
Combined with Covenant Singers, interested youth meet on Sunday nights as a part of a new Drama team which participates by leading worship through skits, freeze-frames, and dramatic presentations of the Gospel. Contact Linda McAllister for more information.
